Blue Lines has delivered design and engineering services for retrofitting more than 45 vessels to include a Ballast Water Treatment System in compliance with international regulations.
Our team used advanced 3D scans to determine the best design scenarios for each vessel, provided detailed manufacturing documentation and Class approval design that was successfully submitted and approved by the Classification Society.

SPECIFICATIONS_
For each project we delivered, we took into considerations the strict IMO regulations, as well as the best water treatment solution according to the conditions the vessels operate in.
We focus on space and cost-efficient solutions from the concept design proposal, all the way to the Class approval design which includes:
– Electrical load balance
– New circuit breakers calculation
– Selectivity between generator breakers and new breakers
– Ship’s light weight calculation
– Pressure drop calculation
– Foundation drawings for new components.
