BLU 131 Ro-Ro Pontoon is an ingenious pontoon design fitted with a quay-access ramp for loading and unloading trucks between Ro-Pax ships and the quay. The pontoon allows trucks to move in one-way traffic: the Ro-Pax ship is completely unloaded, the vehicles turn by rotation, and the flow is then reversed for loading.

The design of the pontoon and its ramp takes the specifications and particularities of the quay into account, so that no modification to the existing quay is required. As a result, loading and unloading operations can be carried out even in unfavourable weather conditions such as wind, snow or ice.
