BLU 118 Inland Dredger Ship is one of the most iconic TSHD (Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger) designs for our company.
The vessel has a dual hopper layout with a total capacity of 462 cubic meters. The dredged material is pumped to the hopper and stored until full, ready for transport. Once loaded, the TSHD departs for the discharge site. The vessel has multiple methods for emptying its hopper, such as opening hopper doors, pumping material ashore or utilizing a rainbow installation, depending on project requirements.
