BLU 102 Multipurpose Depollution Ship is a 25 m steel monohull vessel developed for coastal environmental protection and support duties. With enhanced maneuverability, it carries out a range of operations, including the safe transport of bilge water, petroleum residue and waste water collected from other ships, firefighting assistance for other vessels, towing, and the recovery of oil and floating waste.

Combining these functions in a single compact hull lets the vessel respond flexibly to pollution incidents and routine service needs within its area of operation, up to 12 nautical miles from shore.
